This event will feature a one and a half mile walk that will benefit the Las Vegas Chapter of SCC.

Registration at the Trackside is priced at $35. Participating children under the age of 16 get to sign up for free when an adult registers (one child per adult only). Interested parties from Canada can download a registration form.

Participants can pick up their wristbands, t-shirts, and sign waivers at the Speedway Children’s Charities tent located behind the LVMS Gift Shop during the following times:

FRIDAY (March 8 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM); SATURDAY (March 9 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM); SUNDAY (March 10 from 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM)

Guests will have a chance to save up to 25 percent to 85 percent on hundreds of designer, couture, new, and gently-used gowns available at the event. Prices range from $99 to $4,000 on all styles and on all sizes. There is a gown that will match every soon-to-be-bride on every budget possible.

The event will feature the Emanuel Schmidt Quartet’s rendition of the great works of Miles Davis who was known for his changing the face of Jazz several times in the course of his musical career. Davis was known for his expressiveness, near-genius use of space, innovation, and creativity as he brought to his audience the crisp sound of jazz notes, tunes, and melodies.

The musicians gracing the stage will be Skip Martin on Trumpet, Steve Flora on Bass, Mike Mechum on Drums, and Emanuel Schmidt on Guitar.

This event features a live band that will be playing fiddle tunes, reels, and even waltz for the participants. It is open to experienced dancers as well as to those who simply wish to have a good time. All dances are taught beforehand so newcomers need not worry if they don’t know a dance figure.

Participants are requested to wear flat-soled shoes and casual clothing.

Admission to the event costs $10 for adults, $5 for members, students, and military, and $3 for children under 16 years old and non-dancers.
